We remember the day our manager came into our studio aka drew's living room apartment to show us this new band he was going to sign to Disruptor Records. The first record he played us was this tune Overload and we were hooked! We had never heard of them before but we proceeded to listen to 10 more songs of theirs and we were blown away. Their sound was so refreshing from the instruments to their vocals. There was a summertime quality to all their music that couldn't be denied. Flash forward a couple months and we had the chance to meet them in LA. We proceeded to do what any dudes meeting for the first time would do, we through a mansion party at a buddies got totally blackout and missed the call time for what was our Let You Go music video. Flash even more forward and Overload is taking over top40 and they are about to drop their next single Dreams! The boys were cool enough to let us take a shot a remixing overload and putting our touch on it. The song itself is already just so amazing and vibey... its like drinking coconut water on a beach while getting a foot rub and someone somewhere else transferring large sums of money into your bank acct. SO we figured why change that and just change the foot rub to a back massage and money to a kiss from a chick you really are into but didn't know she was also into you.... So without further adieu... our remix of Overload!

Bergen producer Cavego releases ‘All The Other Girls’ June 3rd via new Record Label Get Dancy!

Cavego has been a hotly tipped producer the last couple of years. After doing official remixes for the likes of Ultra Records and Eskimo Recordings and scoring hundreds of thousand of plays on his Soundcloud he has been named one of the most promising electronic names from Norwegian key tastemaker NRK P3.

‘All The Other Girls’ is a perfect summer jam that jumps out of the speakers on the first listen and is a prime example of his signature blend of smooth nu-disco and soulful vocals, in this case delivered by fellow Norwegian Leon Frick. The song is a tribute to that special someone that you can’t stop thinking about and that makes the world feel like a better place.

The label Get Dancy has it’s background in the club concept by the same name. This summer the club turns nine years and is one of the longest running and most popular concepts in Norway. Every month they sell out Oslo’s Parkteatret in the hip Grünerløkka area and have one of the city’s best and most euphoric dance floors. Cavego, ‘All The Other Girls’ is their first release as a Record Label with more to come.

After a considerable break M.A.D.E.S is back with his 2nd EP! "One of the things that drew us to the original track was that it had this John Hughes vibe to it -- a director who's movies and soundtracks have always been an inspiration for us.

So we riffed on that feeling by adding some classic 80s drum processing techniques and we threw in a big dramatic guitar solo.  At the same time it's got a much more modern groove to it so the hope is to bridge the gap between John Hughes and today's dancefloors."
