Complicity is a glitch-folk concept album about the tension within the roles people are forced to play by war.
Each track speaks through the imagined voice of a different person living through the same day — a worker, a teacher, a reporter, a clerk, a captain.
It’s an album about the everyday sounds of duty, denial, hope, and harm — and the thin line between being part of something bigger and losing touch with yourself.

ElPeche is a São Paulo born, London raised artist who’s influences range from the classics of Brazil’s Tropicalia movement such as Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, to the Northeastern Brazilian Alceu Valenca, through to European electronic music artists such as Nicola Cruz. He has been producing music for the past 4 years and has recently released a number of edits and originals both independently and through TTR. His first EP with TTR was “Calorzito - EP”. 

Rosas Bandidas is the second ElPeche release on TTR and brings the collaboration of Artéria FM with poetry and vocals. The track came together through an overseas production process, the vocals were recorded in São Paulo and came together with the production in London during the past months.

With a UK tour in May, and new album out on April 30th, Brendan Benson released the single Pretty Baby on Lojinx on … 

Pretty Baby is the product of a collaboration with country singer Ashley Monroe, written and recorded in Nashville, it is indicative an album embued with newfound friendships built in Brendan’s adopted home.  Musicians such as Jon Auer (The Posies, Big Star), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies, Big Star, REM), both of whom Benson met at a concert to honor Alex Chilton, as well as Brad Pemberton (Ryan Adam’s Cardinals), Mark Watrous (Loudermilk, Gosling), and Sam Farrar (Phantom Planet) are members of his extended musical family who have contributed to the creation of new album What Kind Of World released 30th April on Lojinx.

Self-produced and recorded in the analogue-only environs of Nashville’s “Welcome to 1979” studios, Brendan’s new long player What Kind Of World features members of Big Star, Ryan Adams' the Cardinals and Phantom Planet.  

Co-founder of The Raconteurs, Benson has spent a lifetime spread across four states, from a childhood spent on the outskirts of New Orleans, to his years in Detroit, Michigan, sojourns in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and a more recent relocation to Nashville, Tennessee.  With five solo albums, one as Well & Goode and two albums apiece with The Mood Elevator and Raconteurs, he has captured his own America in finely hewn pop.   

Created as an outlet for his own writing and production work, Benson’s Nashville based label Readymade Records & Publishing will follow the release of What Kind Of World with the debut album from Young Hines in May, produced by Benson himself.  Both albums will be released in the UK and Europe by Lojinx 

Brendan Benson will be performing the new material and beloved classics in a string of UK & European dates in May.
