BIOGRAFÍA

Ambos viviendo en Costa Rica, cada uno actuando regularmente como DJ, era inevitable que David Charpentier y Hassan Maroofi se conocieran en 2007 y formaran una amistad casi instantánea. Pero fue el vínculo profesional lo que les ayudaría a ascender dentro de la comunidad de música de baile underground como el dúo de DJs conocido como Hassan+Charpentier.

La base de cualquier gran asociación es cómo uno complementa al otro, lo que en este caso fue evidente desde el principio. Mientras que uno había perfeccionado su gusto musical con sonidos progresivos, el otro permetía en sonidos profundos y melódicos.

Es la suma de estas partes lo que nos da dos de los mejores DJ underground en la escena de baile costarricense.

Hassan+ Charpentier han sido parte de numerosas fiestas internacionales con artistas como Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Jones. Guy J, Satoshi Tomiie, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Magdalena y Loco Dice. Damian Lazarus, Sharam y muchos más, así como festivales como BPM, Ocaso y Life in color.

Hassan y David son parte de la marca promotora ClubbingCulture que dirige la legendaria fiesta Back To Basics que ha estado presente en la comunidad underground costarricense desde 2003. Son veteranos en el negocio de la danza.

Es habitual ver a Hassan+Charpentier tocando en las fiestas y lugares más grandes de Costa Rica. Sus sets están llenos de sonidos progresivos, groovy melódicos, y sonidos profundos los convierten en uno de los dúos de DJs favoritos de Costa Rica. Estén atentos a lo que traigan a continuación
