Solitary Refinement

This is a preview of my WIP release "Not Of This Earth." The release is inspired by 90s and 00s drum and bass classics. It's full of lush pads, airy atmospheres and spacey breaks. In writing this album I opted to ignore the current trends towards shorter tracks and minimalism instead opting for longer track lengths, more complexity and a maximalist sound with layers upon layers and spacey SFX hitting the listener from every angle. To hell with simplicity, sometimes more is more and complex is better. As the tag line suggests, I wanted to write "human music for humans." Let me know when AI catches up and can write cross-genre botanica maximalist atmospheric jungle in 13/8.
