Drop The Bounce marks Hommarju's first original composition in the DanceDanceRevolution series.

Drop The Bounce was added to DANCERUSH STARDOM as part of the DANCERUSH STARDOM × DanceDanceRevolution A20 SUMMER DANCE CAMP event. It could be unlocked from August 8th to September 30th, 2019, by collecting 3 stamps for DANCERUSH STARDOM.

From January 16th, 2020 onwards, it can be purchased with 150 ★ after having unlocked Electric Dance System Music.

From February 1st, 2023 onwards, it can be purchased without prerequisites.

As of February 28th, 2024, it is playable by default.

Drop The Bounce is available in DanceDanceRevolution GRAND PRIX's GRAND PRIX mode from July 4th, 2024, by purchasing the GRAND PRIX music pack vol.27 (グランプリ楽曲パック vol.27).

It received brand-new CHALLENGE charts, which become available by purchasing both this and GRAND PRIX music pack vol.28 (グランプリ楽曲パック vol.28).

By purchasing both packs with an active subscription, Drop The Bounce's CHALLENGE charts can be played in DanceDanceRevolution WORLD.

Drop The Bounce - Hommarju

New Era is one of the GOLDEN LEAGUER'S PRIVILEGE rewards by achieving GOLD CLASS in DanceDanceRevolution A20's GOLDEN LEAGUE. It can be played from June 12th, 2019.

Since August 7th, 2019, it can be played by having achieved SILVER CLASS (シルバークラス) instead.

In DanceDanceRevolution A20 PLUS' GOLDEN LEAGUE PLUS, it can be unlocked by achieving BRONZE CLASS instead.

Since August 19th, 2020, it is available for all players by default, regardless of cabinet model.

New Era received CHALLENGE charts as part of the GOLDEN LEAGUER'S PRIVILEGE rewards system by having achieved GOLD CLASS in DanceDanceRevolution A3. They are playable from July 14th, 2022 for 20th anniversary model cabinets only.

As of July 20th, 2022, these charts are available by default for all cabinets.
