Leeds based Reeshy has started to take over the UK scene in the last couple of years, playing on parties such as Fuse, Locus, and a stunning set for Ritmo when she debuted at London's new super club 'Beams'. 

We feel super lucky to release this one, as she demonstrates a different side - bouncing between some spookier prog alongside groovier house.

In a slight change to our scheduled program we deliver just in time for Christmas something rather special. Singularly Voigtmann and John Dimas have been major players on the underground house and techno scene for some time, with their respective labels Subsequent and Elephant Moon both doing important work for the more electro leaning end of the spectrum. They have of course joined forces with devastating effect and the result is VO1GT.M4S – a back to back that combines both artists’ deadly skills both in the studio and in the DJ booth. This combination has seen key performances from the pair in dual mode and they were teasing new joint material in their sets long before they dropped their double wax LP ‘Internal Transmission’ back in August last year on the pairs newly formed joint label Intermission Records. Back in November 2022, Dyed Soundorom and Gene On Earth performed a stirring 3 hours long back-to-back in our Room 01. Along the way, the two protagonists deliver seamless transitions one after the other. Effortlessly.

Forging a voyage through house and beyond, the recording set is intuitively filled with flickering sounds and stripped-down grooves, as seductive as we like. Sometimes brainy yet made to make you move, it’s not your average artist combo. Nuggin’ it up!

Dyed Soundorom b2b Gene On Earth — Recorded live at Fuse Brussels (05/11/22)

I know we say this almost every week, but for our next edition of Trommel InSession we have something very special for you. The moniker Respond/React might be new but it is comprised of three artists that are certainly not new to the scene. Artists Man/Ipulate, Massaï, and Lamalice will no doubt conjure up lengthy Sentaku parties helmed by their founders and regulars that have helped the Parisian / London based label and event series to flourish. The ethos of the triple trouble combo offers fresh perspective in the relationship between crowd, the music and the emotion that comes with hearing a new track at home and the effect that it has on the audience at a gig. 

The three have illustrious solo adventures and so the prospect of all three artists working together behind the decks is mouth-watering. Luckily for you this ethos was cemented in the live recording of their set for the French brothers Mates in Bordeaux. At the Sentaku showcase Man/Ipulate, Massaï, and Lamalice deftly switch between banging house, grinding basslines and insistent breaks all with a special synergy between them that resulted in this vibe heavy recording.
