Piano Sketch 18 Hong Kong Night Fantasy (2024)

I visited Hong Kong several times in my teens and twenties, and even after decades, I still vividly remember the energy of that passionate city. Recently, I saw a photo of the night view of Hong Kong that my husband sent me while he was on a business trip. I came up with this piece while I was pushing my bike in the pouring rain last November. Hope you will enjoy listening!

I'm continuing to explore the vintage organs available in the Native Instruments suite. The tone of this one reminds me of one used by Vincent Crane of Atomic Rooster. 
The guitar parts were played on a 2017 Gibson Memphis 335.
