At night, the people from Lovo and other villages gather in the football field to sing together. This is a beautiful folk choir from Congo, central Africa. Recorded by Geoffroy Heimlinch, a young archeologist who studies the rock paintings and carvings in this area.

"Les choristes s'étaient donné rendez-vous au village de Lovo", raconte Geoffroy Heimlich, jeune archéologue au Congo. "Je voyais sur la route des groupes affluer en chantant, venus de Kuluzu et Nkula. Le soir tombait. Nous nous sommes retrouvés sur le terrain de foot avec les gamins qui jouaient au milieu des chanteurs. Fantôme jouait du "ngonge", de la double-cloche. Les chants sont pour la plupart religieux, Nzambi par exemple signifie Dieu."
