With his latest release "Precious Skin", Amsterdam based Hitam initiates the launch of "Rhiza Semar”- a label, focused on combining dynamic dance floor oriented productions with a left field approach to electronic music. Driven by a strong attraction to artistic innovation, it aims to develop a catalogue of sonic structures which transcend boundaries and traditionalism, immersing the audience in landscapes that are both familiar and otherworldly..

The essence resonates through it’s first instalment. A four-track EP offering a dense and muddy trip into the fields of abstract techno. Besides some minor changes to the overall mixdown each track is recorded live. No arrangements, just the primal and impetuous necessity to create. All tracks, just like living organisms, evolve and progress, from the soft tones of ‘Precious Skin’ to the ominous yet soft allure of ‘Chanu Akan’.

We're delighted to have Neen in Decay Of Reason for our third reference. He is a well-known producer who is getting his music played all over the world.

On Dimension Interna EP he has a very clear vision of what his artistic message is, and it is to fuse the rhythm of the dance floors with sci-fi sounds to take the listener to another dimension. The work on the textures throughout the album is as valuable as its processing on the 909, which has its own mark without losing the essence of the machine.

In remix duties, Alderaan gives us a reinterpretation of Discusion Interna, a mental work that adds a different story to finish listening to the album.

Channeling a proper club night, our premiere for today arrives in the form of Polish producer, Rethe and his offering on Inner Tension’s forthcoming VA, Resonating Pulse. Helmed by a fellow countryman, Blazej Malinowskis’ personal imprint has featured a variety of familiar names, from Svreca to Oscar Mulero. With each release feeling impactful and tastefully done.

Momentum Shift is a raucous affair, there’s no doubt about that. The groove is established immediately, the bass line snakes along as punchy kicks and shakers give a playful atmosphere. What’s missing… ah, the smoke and one or two hands in the air. Don’t get too secure though tempos change, and a well done break down lends the track a nice twist and identity.

Momentum Shift, and the entirety of the Resonating Impulse release will be out on November 7th.
