I decided to start a song and finish it within one week, and this is what I came up with. Nothing crazy, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

In Two

This song started off an a strictly ambient song with long, drawn out reverbs and little riffs here and there from the bass guitar. As I continued to go for the loose rhythm ambient style, I began to hear something new in my mind that I absolutely had to put together. As I chased what I heard in my mind, I came to this conclusion. I am extremely proud of how this one came out.

Fading

We dive deep and “Immerse” ourselves in this breathtaking oceanic score.  This patient introduction gives one space to find themselves, as we open us to a wide open expansive view where panoramic tic tacs dance across the vast soundscape between our ears, layer upon layer envelopes and surrounds us until we’re completely intercepted by shimmering melodies and low end vibrations.  One to sit with and listen to over and over.

Why RHODON? Well,  it is a Greek word meaning, Red or Rose.  A rose symbolizes many things in cultures mostly regarding love, but it also symbolizes beauty.  Beauty can be found in a multitude of things, but here, I think it is the beauty of music that it represents.
