We first heard Lucas Marchal (dc11) on his web channel where he shares modular videos, working with very precise and deep modules including verbos, buchla red panels, random source and many other brands. We immediately thought his tracks would fit perfectly on the label so we asked him to cook something up for us.

The 4 tracks he sent us were recorded during the beginning of 2020, straight from the modular with no post processing apart from mastering. At that time, he focused on hypnotic, minimalist and heavy loops on his modular while taking inspiration from Joe Roberts’s psychedelic paintings.

The release name “Immersion” reflects exactly the feeling you have when listening to the tracks, black hole loops, evolving psychedelic textures driven by strong and groovy bass will guide you from beginning to end.

Involved in Cracow’s electronic scene since 2012, Eta Hox is a DJ, promoter and radio journalist. She’s also an ex-member of the Deep Impact collective, who have booked the likes of Mikkel Metal, Refracted, Shaded Explorer, Dadub, or Babe Roots, among others. Aiming to popularize niche electronic genres, she runs her own radio shows focused on dub and deep techno music on OFF Radio Kraków and Radio Kraków. Eta Hox has head the pleasure to play alongside artists such as Xhin or Samuel Kerridge. As a DJ she believes the best dancing starts from meditation, which is a rule for the construcion of her dj sets, consisting almost exclusively of the latest releases.
