Marcel Kreuzer aka Zoologne is again responsible for the wonderful cover artwork.

If you thought the Kiwis were a friendly, genial bunch then think again, The Wild Army has gone down under to rob, steal, conquer and plunder. 

Max Maxwell's Always Right goes in with some bouncing big room house made to be heard on a big rig. Squelching bass, spoken word, smooth production and a breakdown for peak time as the delayed synths wonk out. 

Marcos Alonso's remix ups the wobble and squelch but makes it a more heads-down affair. Proper nailed down, deep house music that delivers.

Nick Munday goes techno with acid bass, arpeggiated arps, MPC drums and a whole heap of machine soul. One for the heads, the dancers and the ravers.

Marcos' Piece Of The Puzzle is subterranean house music that wobbles, burbles and slides along, driven by rhythm guitar. Synth melodies, SFX vocal snippets and smooth production go late night. 

Paper artist Kennedy takes Piece of the Puzzle, keeping things low and slow but adding a bit of extra fizz. Warped vocals take things leftfield.

The Reign in the Selfies EP is the latest release from emerging electronica and techno producer @PeteCallard on @detsync. The 6 track package features remixes from Curses, Wade Bennet, Owen Ezard & TKUZ with each remixer adding their own brand of electronica to each of the tracks.

We're really digging the whole release but Callard's Time Walrus really stood out for us... a dark and trippy number which we reckon is going to be a big dancefloor hit.

Lany Recordings is a Belgian label that’s dedicated to House music and prides itself on championing local producers based in and around the city of Ghent where the label is based. 

With an impressive roster of established artists including Kolombo, Sierra Sam, Larse, San Soda and German duo Tube & Berger, the label also champions new talent and has given a number of artists their first ever release. 

Run by Maxim Lany, the labels new release sees the label boss collaborate with previous production partner Ante Perry, whose joint output along with other releases on Lany Recordings, has previously featured on labels including Kittball, Nite Grooves and King Street. 

Ante Perry has also had previous solo releases on scene leading labels such as Katermukke, Great Stuff, Armada Music, Click Records plus Marc Romboy's Systematic. 

Maxim is also a regular collaborator with hometown friend Jimmy Van M, and with Jimmy has featured on John Digweed’s label Bedrock. Also a solo producer in his own right, Maxim’s music can also be found on the influential We Play House Records. 

Both Ante and Maxim are also accomplished DJ’s with Ante regularly flying around the world playing international gigs, whilst Maxim plays at many of Belgium’s leading club nights and events. Maxim has also and featured as part of Mixmag's “The Lab” series which is the magazine's equivalent of “Boiler Room." 

Track one titled “Avalon” is moody with broken kick drum rhythms and a dark atmosphere. Airy pads and chic stabs add a sense of mystery and intrigue, whilst the lead synth erupts with explosions of drama. Euphoric and intense, the track takes no prisoners and is a perfectly programmed slice of melodic House with a strong Techno influence. 

Second is “Ever Past” which starts with tense strings and an arpeggiated melody part. Epic by anyone’s standard the tracks melodic structure unravels whilst the percussion slowly builds. Soon the synths take control and the journey continues until the main breakdown where the track dips before reaching its emotional climax.
