Former Rhombus members (Thomas, Koa, Simon) new recording from Wellington, NZ at Rhombus Productions HQ..
Recorded around 2years ago with UK vocalist/MC Deadly Hunta while DJ Skitz was on Tour in NZ.
A few mixes were experimented with live and in the studio, but those mixes have been shelved and replaced with this final heavyweight production!

Deadly Hunta brings immense raw energy to his performances, fusing Dancehall, Hiphop and Reggae, gripping audiences worldwide with the power of his dynamic lyrics. From backing Reggae legends such as Buju Banton and Hip Hop legends such as Wu Tang and Ice T, to performing alongside the Supernaturals on there US tour, Deadly has built up huge credibility throughout the UK Hip Hop and Reggae scenes. This is evident from the response received after touring with DJ Skitz on the Homegrown Tour in 2006 as well as the reaction from the crowds at the LoveBox festival, Womad and the audience at the BBC Electric Proms.

The Bubble - Rhombus in Dub ft. Rodney P
With a career spanning three decades, Rodney P (aka Riddim Killa) is known throughout the industry as one of the founding MCs of UK Hip hop with the group London Posse. 
He has worked with notable producers including The Nextmen, Dub Pistols, One Mike, Mystro, Plus One and DJ Skitz; and alongside fellow MCs Roots Manuva, Skinnyman and Dynamite MC. 
Rhombus in Dub caught up with Rodney on a recent NZ tour and cut "The Bubble" with him in their Wellington studio.
Rodney P is a legend in Uk Hip Hop, since his days in the seminal UK Hip Hop group London Posse, Rodney P is widely regarded as the Godfather of British Hip Hop. He has inspired a generation of British emcees and producers by being the first to rap in his authentic London accent and produced a home-grown Hip Hop/Reggae vibe that is distinctly rooted in the UK.
Rodney is also a nice guy, with a great energy & British sense of humour.

Wellington based ‘Rhombus’ is one of New Zealand’s most original and energetic live bands who consistently deliver a blend of dub and bass, hip-hop, soul, funk and reggae creating a unique sound which has seen them establish a large fan base throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Rhombus Production currently comprises Thomas Voyce and Koa Williams, who are based in Wellington. 
Simon Rycroft, a founding member of Rhombus, is currently based in Eindhoven as Senior Developer for Philips, creating sound vs light designs.
  
When performing on stage with a variety of top-rate musicians, DJ Koa handles the beats/bass/efx, while Thomas plays the keys/samplers/efx etc.
Featured guest collaborators are Wellington based artists Lisa Tomlins on lead vocals, and guest MC's and musicians on Rhythm guitar and Horns. 

Rhombus has performed alongside contemporary bands such as St Germain, Dry and Heavy, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Fat 
Freddy's Drop, Kora, and many more.
