Check my other Cymande remixes. I'm so excited to finally share this edit of "Dove" by Cymande with you all! I started working on it over 2 years ago but life got in the way.

I wanted to give this classic track a new lease on life, so DJs can play it out in today's sets. I added a 4 on the floor beat and some percussive elements, and made it DJ-friendly with mix-in intros and outros. Plus, it's 10 minutes long, so you DJs don't have to throw on a Fela Kuti track every time there's a smoke break during those long sets.

I've loved Cymande from the moment I heard them, and I've been a fan for over 20 years. I own all their albums, t-shirts, and play their music in my live sets often. This song is truly transcendent but can be difficult to play out to a crowd, hopefully, now you can. It was a bit of a challenge to warp but I hope you enjoy it and play it out.
