This set is in honor of my love for house music and the soulful rhythms and poetic vocals that bring me into the home of my body. I give thanks to all the artists, especially BIPOC communities in Detroit and Chicago who brought house into existence. Shout out to my parents who shared with me their love of stevie wonder ;) hope you enjoy

House Is Healing

This set was recorded on Juneteenth which commemorates June 19, 1865, the date on which enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally received the news they were free. This set is a celebration of the continued struggles for liberation and the ways in which our freedoms are intertwined - I am not free until we are all free. Dance with me to the funky beats that honor the BlackFem lineages of house music and this witxchy bitxchy mashup of genres from different phases of my life.

This is Witxchy Bitxchy getting taken to the next level with live vocals by yours truly and my witch sis Waves of Pleasure! Thank you to everyone who danced with me on my 30th Birthday to make this set become reality! We cast spells and wore purple to connect with our inner power, passion and pleasures! This set is an homage to music from different phases of my life - treasuring each stage for its own unique beauty! Turning 30 means I am 3, 13, 23 all at the same time! I hope this epic set helps you bask in whatever phase you are experiencing now, celebrate it!

FYI - Witxch with "x" denotes the non-binary version of witch, expanding the notion that all bodies can be a witxch and practice magic by connecting with divine spirits through dancing.

This set was performed on April 19 together with my witchy sis Waves of Pleasure in honor of the first intentional LSD trip in history by Albert Hofmann, a Swiss Chemist, who discovered the substance accidentally in 1938. April 19 is now widely known as "Bicycle Day", because as Albert began to feel LSD's effects, he tried to ride to the safety of his home on his bike. Inspired by his contribution to the psychedelic community, we wove recordings of Albert into a mix of psychedelic house music.

I came to kiez burn to spread love, to fill our cups so full until they overflow out into the rest of the world. Playing this set was exhilarating because I felt my energy was received and magnified collectively! Thank you to those who danced with me and for everyone else who made the vibes fly at our burn.

It’s a live show exploring new participatory formats that push beyond the boundaries of a usual DJ-set. The audience becomes part of the performance as we dance, laugh, and cast spells together. In the portal of fluffy carpet dreamscapes, the bitchy witches emerge through the cracks of concrete boredom. We bring our comedic spiritual bangers that feel/fill your needs of the pleasure, connection, and love!
