After having made his debut on the label with the release of his song 'All Those Things' on the Magnified Pt. 4 EP recently, Waxman makes his return on Francesco Pico's Magnitude Recordings label with his brand new single Dreams of Blue.

The Canadian producer of Where The Heart Is, Stripped Recordings, Cinematique and Wide Angle Recordings fame delights us with a dreamy flowing piece of progressive house music. Rich with pads and soundscapes, this is proper "eyes closed and drift away" music.

On remix duties we see one of Colombia's main artist; Dabeat. Last year he teamed up with Kamilo Sanclemente to deliver 'Morning Vibes' and he know returns on the label with a stunning rework, keeping the dreamy vibe of the original alive but adding a healthy dosage of South American groove. Very infectious!

It is with great happiness that I share with you the remake I made of a song that influenced me a lot in the DJ career 20 years ago!

I begun my career playing Uplifting Trance and groups like "Gouryella", "System F" and "Rank 1" were some of my favorites. "Airwave" was always an anthem and the desire to play it again in the Progressive version made me build this remix.

Through it I intend to transmit moments of emotion and peace, just as every Trance Music melody does.

The ‘Prospect EP’ is three-track collaboration between the acclaimed Nox Vahn (fka Fairchild), and British-born rising talent Marsh.

Opening with distant wildlife sounds, an unassuming intro gives way to colossal pitch-bending synths in ‘Prospect’. ‘Follow Me’ sees the pair collaborate with American singer-producer Mimi Page to deliver a dream-like arrangement, whilst ‘Serena’s Garden’ (as heard on Anjunadeep 10) concludes the EP with ghostly vocals atop a backdrop of field-recordings.

Next on ICONYC sees the return of Alex O'Rion with the reworked 2020 edit of his smash hit 'Navagio'. The talented Dutch producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and has graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with his unique and lasting productions. Hailing from Amsterdam, Alex, developed a unique style of music, full of ambiances, paired with despondent and warm dreamy patterns that guided him to where he is to today and embodies the sound he now personifies.

Alex leads with the outstanding rework of his timeless 'Navagio' track; a stunning driving melodic progressive house affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction.

On remix duty we welcome Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat, famed for their endless high-quality productions. Their interpretation sounds mature, effortless, and full of subtle nuance. Known to never be bound by any particular style, we see the duo taking a deeper route for their rework of 'Navagio'. Kamilo & Dabeat deliver a bittersweet, quality fueled, melancholic rework that manages to get your legs shaking with each downbeat. Great stuff!

Adding to our list of all-star remixers, we drafted in Subandrio who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing reworks, turning his mix into an irresistible track using the original elements with perfection. Subandrio layers more melodies and effects, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed tech percussion and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the original. His rework deserves to be branded 'elemental' in any sense of the word.

Alex O'Rion has developed a unique style which endeared him to us; having established his credentials as a master of his craft. Alex's 'Navagio 2020 Rework', accompanied by 2 reworks from Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat and Subandrio, is certain to find its way into the playlists of the big-boys brigade. I am an artist now living in Jacksonville Florida and I have been listening to electronic music since the early days of Tangerine Dream. They were the group whose music most shaped my current taste. In 1985 Patrick O'Hearn came out with 'Ancient Dreams' and in 1989 Michael Pluznick came out with 'Where the Rain is Born' The synth work, percussion, and deeply layered atmospheres on those two cd's captivated me for years. Then in 1993 an explosion seemingly occurred-Young American Primitive came out with his work , Future Sound of London came out with Accelerator and Global Communication with their remix of Chapterhouse 'Pentamerous Metamorphosis' and suddenly this wonderful music was everywhere. I love this music. It puts me in a place I would otherwise not be able to visit.It has been a kind of elegant and secret passport to that place where I find inspiration for my art.  This music is for me a wellspring from which I drink daily. It is always exciting to discover a new artist or find a new track. On Soundcloud I can communicate a bit with the artists themselves which is always thrilling. None of my own peers are into what I listen to. If I go to a social gathering-ie. play poker with some friends if they see me pull out a cd that I have burnt they just put up their hands and make crosses as though they are warding off dracula from sucking the life out of them. I need to find a better card game.
So I am most grateful to the Soundcloud people-the artists and the followers and those who comment. It is nice to know others even in an abstract and surreal way-that is where I seem to hang the most comfortably anyways. Nice to almost know you.
As a postscript to this I have now uploaded a great deal of my artwork onto Flickr where my screen name is offshore geometries. Enjoy.
