‘Perpetual’ eases the listener through an introduction of haunting synth keys slowly building into a crisp drum rhythm and chilling vocal sample, a recognizable style of both Martin’s and DJ Tennis’ studio work. Released on vinyl 24th June and digitally available on 8th of July. 
Previous Collaborations in the project consist of 'Synchronicity' with Mathew Jonson and 'New Game' with Guti.

Tibi Dabo - Her Moon

Swedish artist dreamAwaken--aka Marcelo Storino Mortimer--has been prolifically releasing across a myriad of labels for some time now. If we casually threw out names such as Traum Schallplatten, Electronique, Open Records, City Life, LowBit, and Doppelgaenger, you will more than likely understand that these are entities that are tried and tested. His creations come from the remote Skogen Studio in Österbymo and the influence of the locality filters through into the music itself. Swedish music is often like curling up under a blanket next to a glowing fire, watching the elements do its best on the other side of a window pane. The 'Trilithon' EP proves to be no exception to this rule.
  Don't be under the misapprehension that this is chill-out material - a steady throb weaves its way through the tracks. The title track itself is dreamlike, with icicle melodies dripping through frozen vocal exhales. Despite the frosty trappings, it is warm and welcoming. This juxtaposition between moods carries on in 'Kalipha', where a rubbery bass-line shrinks and grows in intensity, while the sounds of wildlife and a choir play off each other, capturing the remote reverence that you can only experience in a town with less than a thousand inhabitants.
  Berlin comes to play when Lucidflow chiefs Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch step up for one of their widescreen live interpretations. Fresh from their live show at Passionskirche, they are absolutely in form in flexing their cinematic muscles. Their take on 'Kaliphia' is a full fat sixteen minute epic, designed to be epic in scope and emotion. Tonally, it flits between music for gothic cathedrals and a soundtrack for the imposing vistas of Washington State's National Forests. Essentially, sounds that are for a very big canvas.

Tibi Dabo is the latest project from Barcelona born DJ and producer Max Guardans. Following on from last year’s La Dorada on Rebellion, he brings his enigmatic sonic exploration to Crosstown this May.

The EP opens up with the gentle yet thudding bass of Her Moon. The track is ten minutes of pure euphoria. Mesmerising cosmic synths travel towards the first breakdown where the track enters a darker phase before they weave their way back in as a 90s inspired piano topline joins proceedings. It’s All Behind takes the EP on a deeper trip with an emotive, soulful, vocal and shimmering melodies. Closing the EP, Nowhere Beach deploys a rapid beat with industrial hints and a rolling bassline, whilst keeping the cosmic feel of its predecessors. A warm synthline uplifts in the breakdown.

The alias of Max Guardans, Tibi Dabo is also the name of a mountain that overlooks Guardans’ hometown of Barcelona. Under this alias the young DJ and producer seeks to explore and experiment with a wide and varied sonic soundscape. His first EP, 2017’s Ende, was signed to Sasha’s highly acclaimed label, Last Night On Earth. Last year’s offering La Dorada was picked up by Damian Lazarus who signed it to his Rebellion imprint, with both EPs showcasing Guardans’ ability to create evocative music that shows a musical maturity beyond his years.

Exclusive  Stimming & Worgull - Cwejman's Tale

Two of the scene's most divine and iconic producers, namely Martin Stimming and Marcus Worgull, team up for their debut EP Eiger Nordwand on Henrik Schwarz's Sunday Music Records. And while the EP's title track is – at least when it comes to the name of the track – referring to the Alps Cwejman's Tale tells the story of “a lonely wolf“ who had already worked on the bass line before the Rhenish blithe spirit Marcus Worgull joined because his train had been late. But the passionate artist of course added his note to the track, specifically the organic sounding and hunting lead synth-melody is an ideal co-production of the befriended artists and is, in the course of the track fortified with single but not singular piano sounds giving Cwejman's Tale a slightly melancholic yet peaceful vibe that could easily represent the harmony of Martin's and Marcus' eleven year long lasting friendship, which is musically captured in this track and the EP.

Stimming's and Worgull's mutual EP Eiger Nordwand will be released on Sunday Music Records April 17th, 2020.
