Green Lotus — I don’t know why I called it that. While making the video, I had this strange association with fractals forming in the visuals, and the name just stuck.

I don’t usually write techno, but with this track I wanted to explore that kind of sound — something raw, fast, a bit hard, and intentionally primitive.
I didn’t go full kiloscanner mode, didn’t push the gain into madness, and didn’t use any VSTs or synths — everything came straight from the groovebox (well, almost).

It was all done in one breath — a quick, 10-minute live jam. Out of the whole recording, the third part hit me the most. There’s melody, there’s minimalism — and it just resonated with me deeply. At that point, the experiment felt complete.

During mastering, I honestly thought I’d messed up the sound — it felt worse than in headphones. But in the end, the master saved it and pulled everything together.

This was never about perfection — it was about the vibe.
