He holds your life and other galaxies 


The stars the planets 
From Mars, Uranus, It’s far 
They revolve
When He calls
By His Word
They dissolve 
Brought from nothing into being
Now there’s something, see it clearly
Not some random act
But One acquainted with your life so dearly


Wrap your mind around the fact
That you're not independent, (No!)
You depend upon the very breath
That gives you step to go!
And if it stopped so subtlety 
Ending your life suddenly 
There would be no help 
No comfort 
You would go reluctantly 

Now I don’t relish saying this
We’re selfish disobeying Him
Rebels not repaying Him
For love is what’s sustaining men 
you know what length He goes for you
With chords of love He draws you to?
The giving of His Son
Upon the cross for you in pain He hung 

The Nails that pierced his hand
On either side of Him He took your sin
to think it can’t get worse
They crossed His legs 
And drove them through His shins 
All for you to make amends 
Trust in Him and He forgives
Run to Him and never enter 
Into judgment
He’s your true defense!

This is something that few dudes

Will Twist words and abuse

If it's only half the truth 
That pastors use
The mass of youth
Will lack the roots
collapse the fruit

This is something of a balance
We must keep and not be silent
focus on the one, neglect the other
Then we’ve subdivided 
The Word of God is how were guided
Old & New, their both united 
We don’t get to pick and choose
Skip that part and close your eyelids

We are called to preach the Word in whole
And let opinions go
The Wrath of God 
The Love of God
That’s what the cross of Jesus showed 
We tend to emphasize the latter 
Forget the former, doesn’t matter
Never would let the Bible set the pattern
So instead we flatter 


What we need to understand 
Is why the Son who came to die,
Who never did a sin commit 
Was given to be crucified 
And the answer we refuse to share
For reasons that are undeclared 
The Father killed the Son
Because our sin on him was laid to bare 


And were deserving of his wrath
With flaming fury, God is mad
He’s angry at the wicked every day
Don’t believe the words I say?
