Rawdio joins the Feedasoul Records family with his latest two-tracker. 'Love You So' cuts deep with bottom-heavy drums interlaced with percussion for that additional movement. Intense piano chords and heartfelt vocals tie the track together, resulting in a track that can be simply described as beautiful. On the flipside, 'It Takes a While'' incorporates a four to the floor driving rhythm section, swinging hi-hats and cymbal rides that are further supported by heart-warming piano chords and soul-stirring vocals.

Newcomers Melbourne Drum Authority land on Sydney's Refuge Recordings, the label that has so far played host to music from the likes of Demuir, Oliver Dollar, Phil Weeks, Manakinz, James Curd and Sondrio. The future looks bright for these two, with 'In The Groove' a deeply musical, continually evolving affair that pairs disco diva wailing with rousing brass, old skool organ keys and wiggling synth b-line to punchy effect. It's a feel-good affair, imbued with sunshine as you'd expect given their surroundings. 'Natural High' ploughs a slightly deeper furrow, with cinematic strings swooping over soulful live bass and sweet vocal strains.

The EP opens with the ever lively ‘Understand’. Clever use of loose drums and shabby chord stabs result in an admirable little house number.

‘Do You Freak It’ incorporates catchy vocals, horn stabs and dancing synth melodies for a fresh take on garage house.

‘E-Mode’ Is inspired by nights in Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow. Jackin’ drums, and soulful vocals make it that perfect secret weapon for late night dark spaces.

‘Wont Let You Get Away’ is the sleaziest MacLo track to date. Bumping raw drums, a sleazy synth line and soaring vocals make the perfect recipe to take down and dirty to a new level.
