Just an idea that I've been piecing together, might go well with a movie or something. The whole idea behind the piece and the title is that from death and desolation, new beginnings can come from the ashes. This idea comes from the same concept of 're-birth' as the mythical creature the Phoenix.

Hey guys! It's been a hot minute, eh? 😅 I've been getting into playing piano a lot, and this song just hits with me, so I thought I'd give it a go. Suffice to say, I'm quite pleased with the results! 😁

As there isn't a studio recorded version of this song, I thought I'd go for the 'live' vibe as well and go completely unprocessed with raw vocals and a decent piano plugin. This recording is literally just me, my voice and my keyboard, and yes... I did play and sing at the same time! 🎹🎤
