I don't always get to play what I want to hear.. So creativity is a huge part of the mix that keeps me going.. Constantly changing, I paint with sound provided by the vibe of the people (Sneaking in a few for the integrity of the mix) . Truly though, the magic happens when nobody is watching, experimenting with new and old sounds in my head, on and off the tables. Cursed with emotion, I tend to project what it "feels like" whether its smooth grooves to nu school womp step.. seems like every session is Therapy for me.
