Growing up a classical pianist, Generoco increasingly gravitated towards the realms of jazz, funk, and blues to become aligned with his musical taste today.

The influence of his deep love for the jazz-funk and disco instrumentals of the 70s shines on through on his first original EP, with deep and funky driven basslines, bluesy keys, emotional strings, and swinging percussion.

Accompanied by stellar vocals from Karmina Dai and passionate saxophone player WayneOnSax, the EP is an ode to the fusion of modern day house music and the harmonies of indulgent 70s instrumentalism. The icing on the cake is the oh-so groovy remix of “In The Music” by Hotmood, which re-interprets the track in a brilliant way.

His sound draws inspiration from his adoration for bedrock arrangers such as Gamble & Huff, Norman Whitfield and Randy Muller, as well as modern day producers like Hotmood and LTJ Xperience.

The Basel based underground house label "Karussell" presents his first release KRSL001! The "Margarita" EP contains 2 originals with one remix each. On the A-side, Tilman & Will Buck present a pompous house board with "What are you gonna do?", the remix by Dan.B is a bit more harder, but no less groovy! The B-side "End Of Street" is written by Shaka and offers a wonderful interplay of various melodies. A quieter, electronica variant of this is offered by the remix of Herr Vogel.
