Dersu and Gomorra are both experienced djs and producers from Basel, Switzerland. They have distinctive musical personalities - Dersu is a member of the exotic Alma Negra trio while Gomorra is more techno-oriented - but when they come together, a new breed of feel-good music is born.

Although they're both seasoned producers, Dersu and Gomorra debuted together in 2014 on Miajica's Space Future Communication EP, so this is a first chance for this exciting duo to get the attention of both leftfield house DJs and their audience.

We believe this collection of tracks, whether it's played to soothe a crowd, create a main moment or provoke a sunrise frenzy, will be a lasting emotional experience.

A new collection of otherworldly transmissions from Deepchord’s laboratory. With "Ultraviolet Music", Deepchord returns to his proprietary formula of atmospheric heroin-house (after 2013's more cinematic "20 Electrostatic Soundfields"). A hallucinogenic amalgamation of deep emotive textures swimming around 4/4 kicks and sub-bass, middle of the night atmospheres, hypnotic repetitions, shortwave static and slowly evolving textures that envelop the listener in warm blankets of sound. Equally effective on a dance floor as it is in one's private space. Multi-dimensional sounds that move the mind and the feet. Numerous (processed) acoustic and organic sound sources make these tracks seem alive in a way that is uncommon in electronic music today. They are breathing life-forms that reveal their subtle layers with repeated listenings. It’s music that's influenced equally by 1980's experimental, 1990's ambient, Detroit techno, deep house, and Berlin school, creating something entirely unique in the process. Orchestrating their return to Kompakt with the much- acclaimed new full-length MOONBUILDING 2703 AD (KOMPAKT 330 CD 124), iconic pioneers of electronic music THE ORB found fresh momentum in an enticing melange of psychedelic loops, deep textures and striving beats. The album saw the duo at the peak of its creativity, indulging in that distinct style of warped miniature epics they've perfected, ever oscillating between ruminant sampling and propulsive jamming. With MOONBUILDING 2703 AD REMIXES / SIN IN SPACE PT.1, we present three reworks willing to tackle the sonic thicket of the source material - and succesfully translating The Orb's unique brand of musical insanity into their own resourceful idioms.

WOLFGANG VOIGT's aptly named ANTIRETROAMBIENTPSYCHOLKAMIX is the first of two revamps from the Kompakt founder and veteran 4/4 anarchist - starting off innocuous enough with some gently colored ambient trickling, it then suddenly sidesteps into lush pop techno minimalism at its very best. Voigt's second take is a particularly bouncy one, rightfully billed as WASSERMANN PSYCHOSCHAFFELCLUSTERMIX and marking the renewed interest in his concept rave alter ego in the wake of leftfield banger EISEN MEIN HERZ on TOTAL 15 (KOMPAKT 340 CD 125). The trio of remixes gets rounded out by LA-based producer TEEBS - nurtured by Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint, he has built his reputation on rich edit-style beat tapestry, brought to full fruition in his ingenious MOON GROTTO MIX.

The Drip EP brings together four distinctive producers and one set of sounds - The Drips. The result is a compilation of 4 tracks that bring the swing and sampling of some of Accidental Jnr’s finest to produce a soaking wet dancefloor.

First up is label boss Matthew Herbert with a trademark groove that harks back to his Wishmountain moniker albeit found lurking in the swamp. Cosmo Sheldrake takes a slight departure from his usual multi-instrumentaling live-looping avant-folk to deliver a track that could only be described as travelling circus aqua-techno. Bahraini born, French / US bred and now Edinburgh dwelling video game builder, sound designer and sometime Scottish league football referee Yann Seznec opens the B-side with an absolute stormer of a rain drenched club hook. Sussex based producer Crewdson and builder of such electronic instruments as the Eggiophone and Concertronica closes proceedings with a drizzling evolving 2-step number.
