Was war das bitte?! Auf jeden Fall der bisher beste Auftritt meines Lebens. Ich bin immer noch davon geplättet wie viele tolle Menschen mit mir diesen Abend zu einem unvergesslichen gemacht und aufs intensivste abgedanct haben. For the second episode of the new „Nothing to loose“ podcast series Niklas Mauerbrecher (@chongs07) has cooked a driving Hard Groove set, which combines energetic drops and dynamic breaks to a harmonic artistic synthesis.

As a part of the music and art collective MOTION (@moto_mz) Niklas has made himself a name in the rhine-mine area since the past few years. By bringing always matching tunes together, he is forming a very matching sound which also can get very hard and powerful mid and late set. His talent also let him to play multiple times for Sweetspot collective(@mara-simge), a project bringing finest electronic events in an oldschool techno charme back to Mainz and around.

A very personal memory for me was his set this summer at Gallery Kurzweil in Darmstadt. Never seen a crowd so hypnotized and full of energy from a DJ Set for a very long time! It’s a pleasure for me to have Niklas in this episode and bringing this masterpiece of electronic music to you my dear listeners. So now let him take you on a trip, enjoy the ride!! 🖤✨🚕

We’re super excited to welcome Minako for this week's episode. Starting out in 2012 as a full time raver, she soon followed her dream to become a proper part of the DnB scene by using her communication skills to found her own label @bananabassmusic with some close friends. In 2016 the label took off and since 2018 she decided to take her passion for DnB to the next level with the help from some fellow producers and DJs and turned a hobby into a new talent. ‘Music and especially drum & bass helps to channel feelings, which makes it so much easier for me to deal with them. But also for the pure joy of celebrating my most beloved tunes and music genre of all time. I'm a drum & bass nerd and this rhythm just tunes in with my heartbeat.’

Proper Charts is a weekly format bringing you a diverse line up of artists and DJs showcasing their personal current top 5 tracks. Szenecast - 009: bishop

Jaaaa Moin!
Lucas hier, als pseudonym auch gern „bishop“, wahlweise „DJ Laut-Leise“.
Während die anderen wilden Hühner aus der Szene den Weg zum Mischpult gefunden haben, hat mich schon seit jeher viel mehr interessiert, wie man selber Musik produziert. Seit damals halte ich es ganz frei nach dem jüdischen Autor Nicolais Vallois und sehe mich in Sachen Musik eher als „Luftmensch“. Alles kann, nix muss. Von DnB über Ambient bis zu Hip-Hop oder experimentellem Gedöns wird alles angefasst.
Ich freue mich euch einen kleinen Einblick in meine aktuellen Favoriten aus unterschiedlichsten Subgenres des Drum and Bass zu präsentieren und hoffe ihr habt damit genauso viel Spaß, wie ich beim Zusammentragen.

Eines Tages werde ich mich mal zusammenreißen und die tausenden Lieder die u.a. auch mit DJ Letscho (Anton) entstanden sind endlich fertig zu bekommen.
Wahrscheinlich halte ich es aber wie die aktuelle Klimapolitik: vielleicht schaffe ich es ja bis 2030.
