In Celebration of this Winter Solstice of 2021 I release this song, a re-recording of a song that came through for me last Spring during a very intense time of my life, when I was sitting at my altar with my drum. Calling upon and honoring the directions, our guiding luminaries and tutelaries, for assistance, guidance, protection and blessing,  this song came through. "Pachakuti" means "world reversal"- it is the age we are living, the great Turning, the great Remembering. It's a time of turmoil and great transformation. And so we are Calling upon the Medicine of Life, and elements, the plants, our very consciousness! and all that is present to support us on our journeys of healing and awakening. The ancient wisdom is within our bones, the living wisdom of gaia is floating through the breezes, its growing in the trees and emanating from all beings. This song is a song to invoke and activate the powers that be - in you and me and to create a sacred Relationship with Life and all souls.
Last year I completed my training/apprenticeship in the Pachakuti Mesa tradition- a beautiful tradition created by the brilliant visionary don Oscar Mira Quesada. No need to engage in battle internally or externally 
Knowing when to be still, and when to hunt
And of great Bear, that teaches us when to go within, to the stillness
Always trusting of the cycles of life.
Never questioning, Bear does not question weather she will survive a hibernation,
she just goes within and she knows.

To the North
To our ancestors and Elders, where the wisdom lies
Of great Buffalo, that reminds us of service.
Tradition says, that Buffalo would turn and face the arrows of the tribe,
for he knew, that all of him would be used for the great of the whole
The tendons, the bones, the fur, every piece. 
Teaches us to live our lives as that lesson
Teaches ut to take the lessons that we learn in life,
our challenges and obstacles, to do the same 
And of great hummingbird
Teaches us that everything is possible
To believe in the possibilities of the highest good
and highest potential, for ourselves, our community, and our world.

The belief, and the power, of one soul.
One pure heart, one pure mind.

And to the Center
The intersection of all of our lives
This this now moment, present,  
The center of the spiral, inward and outward
