Elegy of a Vandal//DOUBLEDOUBLE3634LYF is a site-specific sound art piece. The work is a response to the historical former derelict electric power station in Northampton.  This derelict site has special meaning to myself and friends as it functioned as a graffiti hall of fame and consistent hangout for us in our teenage years. The ruin was a commons for the transgressions of an ASBO generation. The sonic arrangement weaves found archival footage, oral history, music and my own dérive dialogue to conjure up mental images that expand on the mythology of the ruin.
