Performing 28 years as musician and singer (1986-2014).

-> Got my Western musical education (among others) from Hillary de Bruin, Effendi Ketwaru and Leo Tjon A Kon, and Indian classical music lessons from Rita Bokil.

-> Performed in Holland and Suriname with (among others) Nadeem Khan, Shaheed Wagidhosain, Ashok Khare, Kumar Sanu, Debasish Das Gupta, Sudesh Bhosle, Babul Supriyo, Shekhar Kumar, Sharda Rajan.

-> Played keyboard in Interpro Orchestra & National Indian Orchestra in Suriname (1986-1991), and in Holland (1991-1997) keyboard player of Indian Diamonds and Temptations Sound Machine.

-> Presently (in Suriname) band leader of show band 'Yaadgaar Orchestra' and mini-band 'Elegance Music'. In both bands my wife Sharda & daughter Ilhaam (now 17 years old) have joined as singers. Also band leader of Suriname's 'National Indian Orchestra'.

-> Published two music books: Bhajans on Western music notation, and Indian pop hits on Western music notation.

-> Produced various CD's, among which (in Holland) Extra Hot vol. 4, Music Explosion, Kings of the Year, Anokhadaan, Saathi saath nibhana, and in Suriname: Ham sab Surinami hain, Look with your Heart, Yaadgaar, and Pyar ke baatein.

-> Keyboard teacher at the 'Effendi Ketwaru Volksmuziekschool' in Suriname, also private keyboard classes, Indian based.
