Opening phase 3 of the RCU, the Reptilian Mix 07 introduces rising star @tau-car, already quite famous in the Neuköllnywood underground art-house scene. She is now stepping under the World Wide Web projector lights for reptilian connoisseurs' uppermost enjoyment. 

Indeed, Car has experienced her share of life-changing party experiences, to a point she had to answer the call of Jane Gain™ and started to ride those transitions as if her life was depending on it. Relentlessly practicing, she started deep diving into minimal / tech-house, funky club-house, and electroclash to create her distinctive sound showcased in this mix. Her ability to select and play records is only equaled by her love towards Renéchou, her dogtilian son, adding a new member to the reptilian bestiary.

She is the closest crew member imaginable and we are more than proud to feature her first mix in the series.

Paddy Lee jumps on the series a few weeks before he releases our 9th record on the vinyl imprint. His production replicates his records. "My philosophy for deejaying has always been playing music that makes you move at the same time as catching you off guard. For this mix, I started with a blend of spooky, driving records on the mental side and let it evolve into high-energy electro breaks. The BPM gradually increases as the vibe shifts from dancey to trippy, creating an immersive journey."

Antonio Mormile aka @ichedisc96 is a Dj and collector of the @vesuviussoulrecords crew based in Napoli.
Born in 1996 and living in a small countryside city in the province of Caserta (South Italy) he approached music from a young age influenced by his father, also a collector of 70s/80s vinyl rock music and an amateur keyboard player.
His style combines house, electro, synth-pop sounds.
Quite an adventure!

This EP is inspired by her travels. Sagia tells more: “Destinations’ came from being on the road so much these last few years. I’ve a weak spot for the nomadic feel of a US road trip. I’m really fascinated by the beauty of the Pacific Coast Highway.”

Down Highway 1, Sagia takes us to the famous Sunken City, south of LA, in Coastal San Pedro. A steady 4/4 is joined by a dreamy, nocturnal hi-synthline.
