When I composed this piece, I aimed to evoke the essence of our shared humanity, reflected in the tribal traditions that connect us to the earth, to nature, and to a simpler, deeper way of life. "Echoes of the Tribes" is a tribute to the ancient civilizations, the sounds, and the rhythms that, over millennia, have shaped human culture and spirituality.

By blending ethnic elements with modern ones, I sought to create both a contrast and a harmony between the old and the new. The powerful percussion and flute conjure images of ritualistic dances and sacred ceremonies, while the synthesizers introduce a contemporary layer, suggesting that these tribal roots still live on in our collective subconscious.

The listener should experience this melody as both a personal and universal journey. It is an invitation to reflection and introspection, a reminder of our connection to the past and to our cultural roots. I want those who listen to feel a return to origins, to sense the earth's pulse, and to become aware of the constant rhythm of life that binds us all.

Moreover, I intended for the melody to be a source of peace and comfort, offering moments of calm and relaxation in a world that is often hectic. With every note, with every beat of the drum, I hope the listener will be carried away by the wave of emotions, allowing themselves to feel the simple joy and purity that exists in the essence of each of us.

In conclusion, "Echoes of the Tribes" is a piece that speaks of connection, both with ourselves and with all of humanity. It is an echo of the past, reverberating in the present, reminding us that, regardless of technological or cultural evolution, we are all part of the same eternal story.

For some reasons, I've never really been engaged in making remixes. Please don't get me wrong! I've recorded numerous official remixes for a broad array of acts, but, again for reasons I'm not entirely aware or sure of, none(!) of them have ever been published. 

So recently, I sat down and began working on remixes or rather on "inofficial" remixes. It has been a fun experience and I guess, I'll do some more. Please let me know what you think of it! And as always I appreciate greatly any sharing! 

Because of their, the remixes', bootleg nature and Soundcloud's recent new copyright policies (or rather their harsh enforcement of said policies), I was forced to take down all remixes from my Soundcloud page. "Tamas Toth, a.k.a. Ribbonmouthrabbit, is one of the newer beatstrumentalists on the block. Coming from Miskolc, Hungary, he brings his take on downtempo, jazz, and trip-hop to soothe our ears in an age of EDM. He literally just started producing tracks in July, and he has managed to catch quite a few ears with his debut album Follow The White Rabbit. I honestly thought he would be that typical nu-jazz/trip-hop style producer, but I was proven wrong after my first listen-through of the album. In Follow The White Rabbit, you will indeed find many tracks influenced by jazz and trip-hop, but he changes things up ever-so-slightly to give it that fresher appeal. Ironically, that fresher appeal comes from the grimmer, darker tone that these tracks resonate, such as his remake of "On A Clear Day" by The Peddlers. He incorporates effects, plentiful samples, and unorthodox sounds that you wouldn't usually hear in these types of tunes, which only boost the dynamics of each individual track.
