While on tour in Hawaii I rented a bike and rode around the island of Maui. My backpack full with two avacados, a few dates, a pocketknife and my bike repair kit. A strong wind on my back and off I went along the unforgettable Hana Highway, an experience etched into my memory. Every 10 minutes I was confronted with different climates, light, and vegetation. Roads strewn with passionfruit turning the surface into a skating rink filled with rainbows, fresh water and salt water. Sleeping under the stars and waking up with a dose of adrenelin instead of my usual caffeine because I had to climb up a tree to get to my coconut milk.
Get Down is my musical interpretation of that trip.

As 2020 comes to close we are taking stock of life as it compares to a year ago. Nothing was as it seemed then, and likely nothing is now either. We are all deep inside a massive collective psychedelic journey. Good trip bad trip, all our paths overlap. 

On our new album, out now, we explore the idea that we are at the crux of a significant leg of this journey.  Like that moment in most every trip when you are faced with a fear or anxiety and must make a decision on how to proceed, the crux presents both crisis and opportunity.

The featured track here, "Common Ground” is about finding a place for us all to meet in these divisive times in hopes that we can unify and find a path forward.

Cooperation, communication and dialogue are key to unity and resilience.

On the Crux album we are taking musical chances. Some of the most personal songs we’ve written mixed with raw sketched out ideas, to full blown improvised compositions. This is our way of processing the radical changes that have become routine for all of us. This album represents our subconscious hopes and fears for the time ahead. Just a beginner trying to mix my favourite beats and produce my own.
Started mixing in June 2011, producing in July 2012. 
Proud member of Dusted Wax Kingdom since May, 2012.

"Tamas Toth, a.k.a. Ribbonmouthrabbit, is one of the newer beatstrumentalists on the block. Coming from Miskolc, Hungary, he brings his take on downtempo, jazz, and trip-hop to soothe our ears in an age of EDM. He literally just started producing tracks in July, and he has managed to catch quite a few ears with his debut album Follow The White Rabbit. I honestly thought he would be that typical nu-jazz/trip-hop style producer, but I was proven wrong after my first listen-through of the album. In Follow The White Rabbit, you will indeed find many tracks influenced by jazz and trip-hop, but he changes things up ever-so-slightly to give it that fresher appeal. Ironically, that fresher appeal comes from the grimmer, darker tone that these tracks resonate, such as his remake of "On A Clear Day" by The Peddlers. He incorporates effects, plentiful samples, and unorthodox sounds that you wouldn't usually hear in these types of tunes, which only boost the dynamics of each individual track.
