The story in question is more of an experiment than strictly experimental music. It is the first time that @eliazg presents himself in a set with only his own production.

003: Eliaz

What about something completely different? A thing, which springs from a place outside of the box, time outside of proportions and space outside of dimensions. A thing that goes in and out at once.
Swinging on the swing, she shot: "When was the last time you tried something for the first time? Something that is different and new for you? Something you dreamed about and never had an opportunity to do."
"You act like you don't already know that." he replied mockingly while spinning on the rollercoaster.
"You go ahead. Go ahead and joke with me. But I know you know, I challenge you with the idea. And you like challenges. You prove yourself when doing something new and passionate. You love being dared. You are not afraid to be flying, and you are not afraid to be lost." she smiled.
“As if I would not feel dizzy enough spinning on this thing, you go and turn me round with your silly words, yet again. I am happy to have you in my life.”
They lost their thoughts in the playground, both feeling as if the ground between them was shaking and they continued their morning walk, without another thought.

Variance welcomes Kobrik to our ranks or the thirty-fourth release. Italian producer Kobrik is showing great potential, and we here at Variance think that he is worth watching, hence the release. This being his first ever release under the name. gracing us with four varying tracks, with a consistent, yet progressive, style to the EP, we kick things off with Referral to Acquisition a lovely 128 number that would fit well in a warm-up set and pitch it up a few bpms and its a new track very versatile production, dark and atmospheric, with a nice kick, Track two is Firmly established, dropping the BPM to 125 for this one, but its a busy track so you will not notice the drop, very versatile again, and can be applied to many differing moments, the broken beat kick is really malleable, again Kobrik provides great atmosphere and progression throughout, a truly great production. On to track number three, and time for some Positive Elevation, a straight up four on the floor banger at only 126 bpm, there is lots of room to pitch up, a step up from the 125 bpm Firmly Established, again with superb progressions and atmosphere, this track is wonderfully produced, the sound design throughout this EP is spot on, and last but not least, we have Chronic Obstruction. Chronic Obstruction is the fastest on the EP at 131 bpm, a floor filler, with lots of superb progressions, a Kobrik trademark throughout the EP. This is the perfect way to tie things up on this phenomenal four track EP, we here at Variance are proud to present this release, we hope you enjoy playing it, Kobrik is only getting started.

"Create a new piece of music using only the source audio. Use as many of the samples as you’d like, but don’t add other sounds, or process the samples to any extent more than slightly altering the individual material.

Background. Patricia Wolf has said of her original piece: “Cellular Chorus is a work of spatialized aleatoric music using smartphones to bring people physically closer to have an interactive and collective experience with light and sound. The piece is played by each user visiting Cellular Chorus on their smartphones. … The sounds I made are meant to harmonize. There is no right or wrong way to play them. The intention of this piece is to repurpose your smartphone for deep listening, creative experimentation, and to immerse groups of people in a sound and light environment with face to face interactions.”"
