On August 25th, 2015, Erica Claycomb had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of the Art Museum of West Virginia University. The museum has been in the planning's since 2004, so the grand opening was a big deal on campus. Throughout the years WVU has collected thousands of pieces of art. The museum displays all different types of art from local artists and from artists all over the world. I sat down with Bernie Schultz, the former dean of the College of Creative Arts and now art history professor on campus, about the planning and building of the museum. I also had the opportunity to speak with the director of the museum Joyce Ice on what the museum has in store for the future. (PACKAGE FOR U92 NEWS)

In Journalism 225, students were taught how to properly conduct interviews using audio equipment. After the interviews were conducted, students learned how to use audio software to edit their interviews. My interview was with Oleksandra Tarabanova, a West Virginia University journalism student from Ukraine who dreams of becoming a visual journalist.
