Doopie is an energetic entrepreneur/DJ enthusiast hailing from the Friendly City of Port Elizabeth/St Francis Bay, South Africa. He is also 1/2 of Kids of Today.

He can be described as a combination of dreamer and doer whose main passion is people, smiles and music that just feels right. Journeys of soulful, sexy house along with jiving can be expected.

His love for music led him to introduce an events company called MixLab to his hometown. After years in the party game watching other artists perform, Doopie decided to pursue his own passion behind the decks. 

He has played in Portugal, Mozambique and has held residencies at The Raddison Blu Hotel PE, Beershack, White Tiger, The Mexican J-Bay and Cobs Cove St Francis - and has shared stages with industry heavyweights such as Jullian Gomes, Vimo, Timo ODV, Chunda Munki, Ryan Murgatroyd, Das Kapital and Jayms to name a few.

When he is not fishing, surfing, playing and being, He is Founder and Owner of a High end Food Deli called Praia Prawns,
