In preparation for a strong summer club season, Clubsonica Records unveils two exclusive free downloads set to be essential weapons for the remainder of 2025. Having offered a variety of private remixes over the years, it has become somewhat of a label tradition to fuel the world’s dancefloors with new memories of yesterday’s classics, a series which has already turned out exceptional interpretations of ‘Heaven Scent’ by Bedrock, ‘Universal Nation’ by Push, Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ and Sasha’s iconic ‘Belfunk’, amongst others. The latest installment in the series has been prepped and readied for the summer season, with Kamilo Sanclemente unveiling his remix of ‘The Man With The Red Face’ by Mark Knight & Funkagenda, while Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez and Kamilo showcase their collaborative re-imagination of ‘Elle’ by DJ Gregory.

Selection one finds Clubsonica stalwart Kamilo Sanclemente remixing ‘The Man With The Red Face’ by Mark Knight & Funkagenda. Originally released in 2009 as a cover of Laurent Garnier’s turn of the millennium classic, the UK duo reinvented the seminal track with more of a DJ friendly and thus effective approach, resulting in what has been one of the biggest club records across the last two decades. Enter Colombian talent Kamilo Sanclemente who through dedication to his craft, unrelenting work ethic and extraordinary creative vision, has carved out a place for himself as one of the world’s foremost progressive house producers. As a highlight in his sets for some time, the Cali resident’s reimagination utilizes the lead chord stabs and freeform saxophone highlights, for a bouncy feel good summer record that is sure to be a highlight across dancefloors around the globe.

A meaningful piece of music for Kamilo and Juan as well, the Colombian duo pay their respects to the track with a light and incredibly groovy rendition which stays true to the main musical themes, allowing them to breathe in all their glory atop lively beats, rebounding rhythms and hip-swinging percussion. Ricardo Elgardo started his musical career in the early 2000s performing as a dj around his home town of Southend and London as Rich-E, often supporting headline acts as well as helping run local club nights around the area.  He turned his focus to music production a few years later and in 2015 he won an award for Best Soundtrack Feature at the Action On Film Festival held in Los Angeles for his original score work on the film “The Liberator”. Since then he has worked on numerous short film scores and now focuses on producing genres such as Progressive & Melodic House, Breaks, Organic House & Trance. Ricardo is also the co-founder of The Sunset Projects along with Dan Gurner, where they showcase stunning sunsets along the Thames Estuary as Youtube feature films to a backdrop of perfectly matched sunset themed productions and tracks. Ricardo is also a resident DJ for Music Unity For Mental Health and the founder and creator of Excessive Progressive, which has been a successful club night, a dj mix series and a weekly radio show on local community dance radio station FunkySX where he showcases the best chilled, deep and progressive house music along with his own productions, remixes and reworks. You can catch his shows every Monday evening 6.30pm - 8pm on FunkySX 103.3fm. Ricardo also works behind the scenes with local record label Boomtic Records run by Terry Oxby. This year Ricardo entered and won a producer competition with his Organic House track Niwa, which will be a forthcoming release on the label Krafted Digital and already has a string of releases lined up. With tracks on labels such as Alter Ego Progressive, Boomtic Records, Emma-Nating Records, LW Recordings & KPR Records, Ricardo’s music is constantly hitting the top 10 Beatport releases charts, as well as featuring on multiple compilation albums.
