Departure is the first single of the album "Xenotopia" that will come out on the 22nd of November on the infamous col legno music imprint.

Departure

The soundtrack of Dystopia stands out for its ability to immerse the viewer in an alienating dystopian world. The music combines electronic, industrial and orchestral elements that blend perfectly with the film's visual aesthetic of post-apocalyptic scenarios, cyborgs and fragmented humanity. Electronic sounds play a central role, with cold, pulsating synthesisers that evoke a sense of constant tension, emphasising the anguish and instability of the world depicted.

The use of dark, minimalist sounds recalls cyberpunk film atmospheres, creating a contrast between the hyper-technological appearance and the residual humanity of the characters. The soundtrack often features a pulsating rhythm, suggesting an inexorable march towards chaos and ruin, while slower, more atmospheric moments emphasise the desolation and loss of identity typical of dystopian societies.
