HARDER SET DECEMBER 2023

“Riccardo Tavarez, who is originally  from Rio de Janeiro  moved to NYC in 1994 
He started djing in the late 90s/ early 2000s at the original location of The Cock in the East Village, playing mostly electroclash and old-school stuff 
In 2003 he spend a year in London where he got a weekly residency at Barcode in Soho, he also played at Fire, The cock, and at the very first Horse Meat Disco party.
​In 2004 he was back in Rio de Janeiro where he was a regular at the club Dama de Ferro 
In 2010 he moved to Los Angeles and he got a Sunday residency at The Eagle in Silverlake where he played from rock to house and disco to electro. He also got to play at parties like Woofclub and Meat Rack
2012 rolled in and  he decided to stop djing to focus on his culinary world, 2015 HARDER was born
Almost 8 years after he started the party, he decided to go back to djing 
Since then he's been a resident of HARDER, not only in NYC but in SF, Miami, Fire island 
He is also the resident at his super popular party ConTEAnental 
This year He already played in Brazil at Club Jerome and  Brutus and in Berlin at Ritter Butzke for Pride 
On his sets, you can expect a mix of house, electro, disco, and even some techno, gathered from almost 35 years in nightlife from Sra Kravitz and Massivo in Sao Paulo to  Sound Factory  in NYC to Berghain in Berlin, they all inspired and shaped his music taste and knowledge throughout the years
Stay tuned for  LOFTY, a new event starting September 30th where he'll be sharing the booth with Manny Ward, and on December 2nd he'll be back in Berlin to play the anniversary of Dessert with Tom Peters.”
