Today is a new day. A new generation. A new way of communicating.  Their is a generation of grown men like myself who have ignored and never gained closure with their fathers who were not in their lives.  For the record my father is not a bad guy at all. He just wasn't in my life the way any child would have liked.  I have spoken to him several times in short and never gathered much of anything.  I have no bad feelings towards my father and pray that this open letter reaches him and connects with him on a level to where we can build something for the Brown generation to come.  Pop I love you and I don't understand how you can log onto facebook and never communicate with me.  Our last name deserves better effort on both of our parts. You will always be my biological father and I will always be your son.  May this find you and bring our reality to the front and much progress. In our family their is only two Brown's left. My cousin Shan and myself.  Let's make this right ...
