This song isn’t just a protest. It’s a ledger.
It’s about watching power move in the world — not in textbooks, but in real time.
In the wake of U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran — strikes that marked one of the biggest escalations in decades, taking out top leadership and plunging the region into a new conflict — I wrote this from a place of watching authority test its own limits. The world is hearing explosions over Tehran, the pillars of diplomacy are cracking, and people everywhere are questioning who should have stood up and who folded instead.

“Counting Who Stood Down” isn’t about distance or fear of leaders we don’t know — it’s about the silence and hesitation inside the halls of power, about watching institutions shrink when the stakes are highest, about the cost of watching a throne built on fear and gasoline burn while too many hands stayed folded.

This is not just a song about one moment.
It’s a record of watching humanity decide what it values — and who, in that moment, failed to stand.

Shine, hidden flower, shine

Landscapes 1.0 (Book 1) is a short four-piece ambient EP exploring dark sonic atmospheres and cinematic sound design. Built around evolving synths, deep pads, and minimal movement, the music focuses on texture, space, and mood rather than melody. Each piece feels like a different landscape, distant, mysterious, and slowly unfolding.

This first “Book” opens a series of sound studies where ambience, tension, and atmosphere shape imagined environments and invite the listener into a quiet, shadowed world of sound.

Rich Goldin is a guitarist. He has worked with many artists. Remastered recordings from Tiger Rose are now included here. He is also an accomplished pianist and multi-keyboardist. All instruments are performed by Rich with guest appearances on the various drum tracks contained within. Thanks to the late Marco Calabrese, Moe Vfushasteel, and Ableton Live for their drum performances and audio percussion development. Rich offers these tracks as a sampling of his recent sonic palette.
