Unhuman is the Berlin-based electronic and experimental project of Manos Simotas. 
Started in 2012 in Athens with his first release "Emperor Black"on tape, Unhuman evolved through different genres ultimately finding his own unique voice in experimental and dark electronics. Keeping his root in post-punk, Unhuman released on labels such as Instruments Of Discipline, VelenoViola, BITE, AMOK Tapes and Strange Therapy. 
Unhuman is also the founder of Liber Null Berlin, which has played a critical role of unifying the freedom of arts in a conceptual event in the scene and also operates as a record label. 
Expanding beyond Berlin, Liber Null held events with performance arts and music all around the world including Athens, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul and beyond.

"Rory St John returns to Voitax with »Excommunication«, a hyper-deep, futurist take on classic dub techno. Skillfully assembled, each of the four tracks hypnotically morph and evolve, forgoing the cheap tropes of today’s ‘rise and drop’ techno for a more immersive listen – one gets the feeling that each and every sound is wielded with precision, and exists exactly where and for as long as it should.

Reacting to the increasingly harder-edge sound that proliferates today’s techno, Rory St John strove to push his sound in the opposite direction. The result is sombre and introspective – a slick, reverberating antidote to mainstream anthems.

This release is markedly different to the abrasive stylings of his previous »Run Your Mouth« EP and reveals yet another side to the producer’s sonic palette."

Biography:
Hålbå is the project created by Alessio Barbuzza dedicated to combining the experimentation of sound design and audio synthesis with the darker and hypnotizing soul of techno music.
Parallel to the years of study aimed at understanding the most advanced audio techniques, begins to learn new musical nuances and attend high-level clubs and festivals. The result of his experiences led him to define the soul of his project, where technical refinement coexists with the raw and brutal part of electronic music.
The artist, through his dj-sets and productions that have always different mood and sonority, wants to show his vision towards today’s world: his will to tell a story or convey a feeling is translated in the form of raw and psychedelic grooves immersed in in sci-fi and granular textures.
