[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 86th release — Mountain Altai VA: Oroktoysky Bridge. Dub Techno Star Collection, Vol. 4

Oroktoysky Bridge — a suspended thread above the roaring Katun, hanging on cables like strings stretched between sky and earth. It is often called the gateway to the heart of Altai. Here, above the thunderous waters, one feels suspended between two worlds — one where the river’s voice never fades, and another where time itself slows down. The sound of the river becomes a low, trembling hum you can feel in your chest. And beneath this bridge lies the deepest point of the Katun — more than seventy meters down into a hidden abyss. This is a place of power, where earth and water converge in tension, and a person stands literally between heaven and the depths.

Vol. 4 of Mountain Altai VA is dedicated to this bridge — a crossing, a symbol of courage, a point where shores, states, and dimensions meet. Nine tracks sound like legends heard in passing across this suspended path.

From nearby Chemal comes a low rumble — as if two rivers are speaking in sub-bass. “Chemal” entwines the roar of rapids and the hum of the bridge into a single current — dense, living, endless.

Mountain Altai VA: Oroktoysky Bridge is the fourth chapter in our Altai story — where sound becomes space, and depth becomes time. This part of the grand collection, created in celebration of the third anniversary of [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], takes the listener further into Altai — to a place where a bridge is not just a road but a state of being, a passage between noise and silence, fear and awe, sound and light. Here, dub techno is no longer just music — it becomes the very space between steps, the vibration of metal, the echo below, the reflection of the sky in the water. It is the sound of balance — recorded at altitude, above the river, above time itself.

Italian techno DJ and producer - Dorian Gray deals with electronic music far beyond its partying aspect. 
After his acclaimed 'Nyctophilia' EP released on Android Muziq in 2015, Dorian’s work appeared on international active imprints such as Circular Limited, Illegal Alien Records, Black String Records and Lost In Ether to name a few. He has now gained a well deserved reputation in the scene as his tracks are constantly charted by well established artists such as Cio D'Or, Luke Slater (OFFICIAL) or Ben Klock, and were played more than once at techno temples like Tresor or Berghain Panorama Bar. Production work aside, Dorian firmly states that his first love is Djing where he continues to push forward, spreading his word in several gigs across Europe including the legendary Tresor Berlin and the infamous Jaded in London. His progressively built sets oscillate between deep techno and more club-oriented and hard-hitting sonorities.

Welcome to another experimental episode of our CodeCast XY sessions.

Yóhan is an ambient/deep techno artist in Seoul and a director of the techno label, Artscope.
He pursuits the making of rough and industrial, non-musical noisy sounds into silky and sophisticated moods. He believes that there are some musical energy in all the sounds around us. He also thinks that we all feel some kinds of beauty, feelings and some memories in it and always tries to express emotions of the modern times - “the period of mechanics”.
He creates deep dark but warm texture of space made of ambient, industrial sounds to express his deepest pain and feeling. And always tries to investigate a new sound and a new combination of sounds and released his tracks in such as Artscope, Arcing seas and Lett records.

Few interesting words he told us about this particular session:
"Well, making this set was like the process of watching my inside. I wanted to observe the weakness and the strength, the peacefulnes and the violence, the darkness and the light .... the whole me from the deep down was what I wanted to express. Maybe there is a childish coward, maybe there is a freak nerd, maybe there is a strong man or maybe there is also an destructive evil monster. I don't wanted to judge and just wanted to watch inside of me and express them and I didn't want to make any intentional balancing among them. So maybe this mix is more biased to some aspects and I think "well then, that is me, at the moment""
