Great hook. This song really feels like it is driving forward.

My word, the chorus on this one! Gorgeous. And verses just perfect to set up a clear platform for it.

Loved the beat right out of the shute. Great double vocals (an octave apart ) in the chorus.

Songs like this are why I always go through the SAW list with good headphones. Really tight rewarding song, vocals, instrumentation, mix.

Like the synth rhythm and the chorus. I think your vocals would work so well with Paula Varela. You both have a similar style that would work really well together!! (in my head anyway!!) Nice arrangement. 

Love this one! That chorus is just a delight. I love the lyric you chose too - you could've sung "there's blue skies" with no other changes but "there's blue in the sky" is captivating.

*Written in celebration of what would have been my Grandma Pat's 90th birthday. She was my favorite almost birthday buddy.*

Help Yourself

Collaboration with David and Laurie Easterling.

I took a chord progression David came up with as we were starting to collaborate, then brainstormed the first draft of the lyrics. Then David edited the lyrics to fit his way of singing it and we chiseled down extra stanzas to fit to length (not necessarily in that order).  I'll probably record another version sometime soon to improve the mix between the video's audio and the audio into DAW, possibly adding drums, bass too.
