You hooked me with the 2nd line; 'Those reds they always give me the blues'

Hearing this makes me think of the commonalities between Green Day, Pete Seeger, and Dolly Parton. At some point we're all just sitting in a room playing an acoustic guitar and singing about this.

It's really clever how the end of the verses accelerate away from you with the quick delivery of the lines. Tightly structured and rhythmic. I like this one.

it feels authentic the way this is stripped down to a singer with a guitar (similar to what James was saying, that resonates to me as well).  The two chord progressions compliment each other really nicely (one is very percussive going back and forth between the two chords and then the segway really lifts off nicely and becomes more wide open rythmically to my ears)

Lots of feelings coming out of those lyrics. The upbeat accompaniment puts a positive spin to the song for me when I listen.

Sweet, short and catchy! I like the way the melody and rhythm play out with the words.

As you can probably tell, I have been reading the graphic novel of David Bowie's biography and I've always been into writing spacey sci-fi tripped-out stories.  The Moonglow Dandy continues that trend...
