After years of producing music together, Owen Jay and Melchior Sultana finally present a full length album. This album sums up their love and knowledge for deep house music by delivering a blend of originality, shifting away from the usual grooves that one might expect to find on a deep house album.
Starting off with a funky groover titled The Mystery About You, the 11 tracks create a unique journey. Tracks such as A Mild Winter, Jackin and My Mind which will surely tear up a dance floor when dropped at the right time. Moreover, it explores deeper waters, with tracks such as The Seeker, Cosmic and Without You which will be appreciated by those who read between the lines.
Atmospheric pads, evolving rhythms, dubby chords, portamento sounds and modular experiments all come together to form this interesting and fresh album - Dream Landscape.
