It’s been a very busy year for Walker & Royce’s Rules Don’t Apply and we thought it’d be appropriate to end the year with some fresh-faced label fam making noise in the dance world.
RDA all-stars Basura Boyz & FENIK return with the rambunctious and thwacking "Escape". 

On "Escape" we see the boys banging it out in full force- 
a woozy & energetic bass-line defies convention while pounding drums serve as a rhythmic grid designed for devastation. Giant swells and snare-rolls galore bring tension to a tipping point..

Escape

Samet Gunal is set to release his latest project, Starting Something, an electrifying new EP that marks his debut on Kinetika Music. Known for his compelling releases on key labels like Innervisions, Monaberry, and Human By Default, Samet continues his creative ascent with a genre-defining collection of tracks, solidifying his influence in the electronic music landscape. Starting Something features Gunals collaboration with Dutch duo TWIINS, an act revered for their genre-bending sound and forward-thinking approach to electronic music. In addition to the title track, Starting Something also includes a compelling remix by Thodoris Triantafillou, a respected artist known for his evocative style and deep, melodic interpretations. Triantafillous remix reimagines the track with lush textures and an entrancing rhythm that adds a unique, atmospheric edge, taking listeners on a profound auditory journey. The EP also features SKWEAK, a collaboration between Samet and Cypriot producer Nowa (CY). This track captures a playful yet intense energy, showcasing both artists talents in crafting intricate soundscapes and rhythmic layers that draw listeners into an immersive experience.

SML014 introduces a new concept to the Simulate story. ‘Archive 1.0’ is our first smaller (5 track) compilation, focusing on dance floor orientated records from talented producers in the scene. This various artist compilation sees label head Massano team up with Koraia and NURAH whilst welcoming innovative Simulate newcomers Woo York, 8Kays, OBSESH and Glowal alongside Bigfett, returning to the label for his second appearance. The track-list boasts an impressive selection of proven dance floor destroyers, from the variety of vocals of Pankrepas, TTXTC and Embrace The Future, to the hard hitting synths inside instrumentals; Rambla and Intentions, this VA has something for everyone.
