With licenses and expertise as a critical care nurse and a therapist for decades, I have treated tens of thousands of patients of all ages.  Most people have no understanding how our mental health impacts our physical health.  

The body is a sophisticated mechanism and, at all times, it must stay balanced to be healthy.  This is not only physical balance (rest, sleep, food) but psychological balance through emotions, thoughts and feelings.

The physical body is cued by the mind.  Many times when the mind is not rational, the body goes into fight or flight which eventually weakens the body, opening up an opportunity for disease and illness.

Guilt, worry and fear are harmful to the body and difficult for the body to hold.  They can wreak havoc on the digestive system, the heart and the stomach.

When we feel uncomfortable in a situation, our tendency is to go to the mind for help.  Yet, the mind is not insightful and is often irrational.   

Religion or spirituality, in general, helps people let go of worry and give it to a higher power.  This act of surrendering will relieve the nervous system and ultimately the physical body.

All illnesses and diseases have a history that begins in the nervous system.  Thoughts trigger emotions and emotions drive the nervous system.

 Make Peace With Your Older Self: Be Mindful of Self-Talk Around Aging

 Practicing mindfulness can protect our health and improve our quality of life as we age, research finds. Practicing mindful self-compassion can also help us be more accepting and less critical of ourselves and our appearance as we age, Julie says.

 “We owe it to ourselves to be mindful of our self-talk around aging and to give ourselves the gift of making peace with the aging process,” Julie says.

 A Certified Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher from the University of California, San Diego, Julie is author of “SNAP! From Chaos to Calm and creator of SNAP, a simple four-step process anyone can use to calm anxiety, worry, and other troubling emotions. This includes negative self-talk — what Julie calls our “inner critic” — that tells us we are old and/or out of shape when we look in the mirror.

 Sound familiar? Try this:

 Soothing touch: Place your hands where you find it soothing, as a reminder that it’s hard to feel this way; you are giving yourself love, and the relief of oxytocin and endorphins being released will help calm your nervous system. I place both hands on my heart, but feel free to find whatever point works for you.

Name the emotion: Sometimes this is a tangled mess, so see whether you can tease it apart. It might be embarrassment, shame, an icky feeling of vulnerability, or it could be sadness. Name it to tame it — so it’s out in the open and you can work with it.

Act: Ask yourself these two questions:

1. What do I need to hear right now? Then tell it to yourself.

2. What do I need to do right now to shift my mood? Then choose what you can reasonably do in that moment. This could be positive self-talk, loving kindness phrases, or gratitude practice — anything to make a shift so that you feel the truth that you are enough just as you are in this moment.

Praise: By being loving to yourself, as you would be to a dear friend, you are bathing yourself in compassion. You deserve it.

 “What you think changes your brain,” Julie says. “If you talk to yourself with gentleness and compassion and you take a couple of moments to savor the good feelings your compassionate voice brings up in you, that positive mental state rewires your brain. It is a simple practice with profound results.”

SATAN IS DEAD! – PERSPECTIVES FOR DECEMBER 2021Had a chance to sit down with Don Early and talk on his podcast called “The devil you don’t know”.
I was drawn to Don as he is one of the few podcasters out there talking about the subject of the devil and the origins of good and evil.  He was surprised and intrigued when I told him that the devil is now dead! (The interview is being edited and will be up on my January Blog).
Indeed, is truth stranger than fiction and my Yogi Master Dr George King always said that if you want know truth you have to speak the truth and as a master metaphysician in his own right Dr King talked about the transmutation of satan which occurred on February 24th 1969.

The transmutation of satan called Operation Karmalight was successfully concluded on February 24, 1969. The above heading is a copy from The Aetherius Society’s Newsletter at that time.

LAW OF KARMA
For centuries we as a collective have misused our freewill and given power to tyrants and dictators that have ruled over us. One very detrimental way that we have done this is sending our uncontrolled thoughts of hate, war, envy, jealousy, spite etc which have traveled to the lower realms of Earth that fed and gave power to demonic forces the main leader being satan itself.
Dr King stated that the law of Karma allows for a time evil to exist for a certain length, but evolution has to continue and eventually no matter how powerful any ruler is it will fall.
There is a continual energy war occurring behind the scenes on the other realms between the forces of darkness and the forces of light.

THE TWELVE BLESSINGS
It is in these days that all of us are being called to send out the power of love as a white transmuting light into the darkness and raise the vibrations of Earth.

In fact, I would say that it is our moral and ethical duty to do this! To leave a legacy for the upcoming younger generation that they can live in a better world than what we see now.

According to "the Google" anxiety is due to difficult experiences growing up. I believe it can also be due to being born with a lot of fear as your basic constitution (as opposed to coming it with a lot of anger or sadness or a combination of these three elements). For this newsletter I'm zeroing in on two main manifestations of fear, regardless of its origin -- anxiety you feel in your body, and worry is what your mind does with that feeling.

 In our country today, there is a lot of anxiety and worry going on. Our political leaders seem to be taking extreme measures, oblivious to the consequences it has on the general population, but especially on those with underlying fear. So I'm offering some suggestions for those of you who find yourself under more distress than in previous times.

I have been interviewing for over 30 years, talking with thousands of; authors, musicians, light workers, metaphysicians, spiritualists, co-creators, body, mind and light workers, new thought people, visionaries, revolutionaries, inovators.

We all have a story and mine is no greater or lesser than yours. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I was legally blind from birth. In spite or because of that, I went through 13 years of school not knowing what I wanted to do and so I went to Communtiy College and worked in the AV Department. I found out about a job with 'Sun Sounds' Radio Reading Service, for the blind and visually impaired. I not only became a client, I started working there August 29, 1979 and never “looked” back.

On March 6, 1996, I received a lens implant and went from 20/200 or worse to 20/80 overnight. Within just a few months, I was learning to drive a car. A dream I had given up in acceptance of the way I was, legally blind. And that was 'ok'. Bicycling was just fine for me. Then my marriage of 15 years came to an end and I met Amrita Ma. We married and moved to her home town of Santa Barbara and we both started a new life 5 minutes for her childhood home.

We've been to Ireland twice and dream of living there one day very soon.

I dreamed I would drive, travel to far away places, share the love with someone with a very open, loving heart, live by the sea, have my own radio show, teach others my craft, meet new and exciting souls. I am working on 2 books and more.
