Frédéric Alvernhe, better known as Humantronic, is no stranger to the scene. With roots in Berlin's vibrant techno hives, he’s been crafting groove-driven anthems since the late 90s. His debut EP, "Kiss of the Flowerman," exploded to #1 on Juno, and he's been making seismic waves ever since. From co-founding the Neopren label to launching Manakacha, this guy's resume reads like a techno fairy tale.

But let's talk about "Madspace." This track is a hypnotic blend of analog warmth and digital precision, the kind of sound that gets the reload every time. Picture this: basslines so glitched-out and chunky you'd think they had a personal vendetta against gravity. It's like a fog machine in audio form, wrapping you in its embrace and not letting go. Drawing the attention of label owner Markus Schulz in the second half of 2015, Andrej Anskinas' headline piece graced one of the annual grand stages, as Epika was debuted during the Transmission extravaganza in Prague. Quickly establishing itself as a fan favorite and Global Selection winner on Global DJ Broadcast, it's anthemic nature will prove to be a popular choice among trance spinners.
 
However, the supplements are equally as appealing. Breathe In provides a funky, feelgood touch, and Unleashed turns on the dark power. With all three combined, Anske's Coldharbour debut is one to be admired.

Having demonstrated his credentials as one of the finest exponents in the progressive side of trance, Canadian rising star Solid Stone gears up for his debut album with an important piece released as a single, entitled Pushing Up.

The Montreal native signalled his intentions for a groove-laiden album with double EP Profound and Get On My Vinyl prior to Christmas, and with Pushing Up he collaborates with one of trance's distinguished voices, his good friend Jennifer Rene. The result is outstanding, with a deeply, darkened composition which will set the dancefloor firmly in motion inside the dark confines of a club.

To back up the original, UK brotherly duo Arkham Knights are recruited, and their infectious combination of tech and trance come to the fore again, taking Pushing Up to the peak festival ambiance.

With both versions receiving extensive support from label owner Markus Schulz, Pushing Up will possess a broad appeal with the mixes on offer. Whatever choice you make, it's one that will do the business.
