Dancing on the Flipside

This song was inspired by a dream my wife had about our pal Luana Anders. During the dream my wife said "How can you be here, you died 20 years ago!" Luana replied "Think of 11:11. We meet at the decimals."  The idea being they have to slow down to chat with us on our side of the fence, we need to be asleep, in trance, meditating, hypnosis, mediumship to access them.  Improvised tune.

Eleven Eleven

I wrote this as I was infuriated by what was happening on the borders of the country. It's the poem by Emma Lazarus set to music - but my emotions overcame me a number of times singing her poem.  This is from the CD songs from the flipside available on Amazon or CD baby.  I like the groove as well - the idea of the speeding up score was to make it feel like a drone was flying up and over the city of Manhattan with millions of people going about their lives.
