I wanted to create something a bit more uplifting and jolly this time, but for ages it seemed like everything I tried came out melancholy. So I tried much harder and finally came up with this. I may have overcompensated a bit and made it over the top happy! See what you think :)

Well, this one's not like anything I've done before, and you'll probably hate it. I've gone completely off scale, out of time, and into a style I'm totally unfamiliar with. A million miles from my comfort zone, Which is probably why its unfinished. Still... you have to follow the muse, and this is what came out. Oh, and my first time using lyrics!

Played as a mono synth using LFOs for rhythm, sequencing and pitch mods. All mixing done by playing the four macros and modwheel, then editing the recorded automation on the timeline.

Created for KVR One-Synth Challenge November 2022 using Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover.
This is a return to melodic ideas I had when composing "My Secret Garden" some years ago, when still using soundfonts and softsynths were new to me.
The track is unfinished - minimal production processing - mainly cutting unwanted low frequencies. Most time spent on composition and arrangement. Some parts played with harp will be piano when finished.

Basically I was unable to take part in the Apricot round, so this was my chance. It's based around a 5 beat arpeggio I created with this synth. I thought I might use more of Odin 2, but ended up using it just for the snare.
This track is dedicated to my lovely Jenny who in spite of many current ailments managed to walk several miles of difficult coastal path to get the photo of a waterfall for my cover pic. :)
