A 2011 remix of the Gary Numan/Bill Sharp UK hit in 1987/88 - A hard one, with the floating tempo from 123 - 125 bpm (and it stayed this way), extra synths are not synced as  well, for
the real '80 s feel. (beat mixing was quiet hard these days)
The only big change is a extra measure/beat before 3rd chorus.

Gary Numan and the late, great Robert Palmer in the duet that never happened.
Mashed up live, on the fly on my radio show a year or so back. I did it in Torq, using a USB crossfader. I was simply playing 80's songs and thought it would be funny to go from Numan's original song 'I Dream of Wires' to Palmer's cover version midway but then realized they were in virtually the same BPM and had nearly the same song structure, so faded back and forth so they appeared to be singing together. There's an BPM dump towards the end that was caused by me inadvertently syncing the song to next one in my queue.
